Project Description
Completed in 2021, Sohoprojects transformed an underutilised area between the existing office spaces of the Sydney Jewish Museum into an additional office and meeting rooms. The challenge was to maintain the long-standing hand-painted wall murals, by the artist Wendy Sharpe, telling stories of the Jewish people. The team effortlessly navigated this renovation, building around the murals and preserving them as part of the office. Strong communication and efficiency ensured great client satisfaction and no client call backs.
The Australian Jewish News online magazine published a story about the renovation named “Iconic mural saved“.
